We wanted to let you know our response to the COVID-19 pandemic to give you confidence as you plan future visits to Williamsburg.
Warm hospitality is our first priority and protecting guests falls under that goal. In a sense, we want to tell you what we are not changing. Instead, we are maintaining the standards we already have for you. Our rooms will continue to be cleaned and sanitized in advance of your arrival, all linens will still be removed and washed every time a room changes hands, all housekeeping activities will be conducted while wearing nitrile gloves, and our food preparation will still follow state guidelines.
Of course, there will be some small changes. We will greet you wearing gloves and face masks but will still help with luggage.
According to current guidelines from the Virginia Department of Health, you will need to choose to either have breakfast in your room or enjoy it on our patio. We will ask you to inform us of your choice upon check-in. We will be available in the mornings in our parlor area should you wish to discuss your visit to the area over a cup of socially distant coffee.
Above all, we want you to have no hesitation that you will be coming into a very clean and orderly home that is ready to welcome you to the Historic Triangle. We trust that these new guidelines will not take away from our atmosphere of friendliness and hospitality.
