A warm Williamsburg welcome awaits you from the owners, Alex & Laura Vlk and the staff of the Cedars of Williamsburg Bed & Breakfast. The Cedars is the oldest and largest bed and breakfast in Williamsburg Virginia. Built in the 1930's during Williamsburg's reconstruction, several colonial craftsmen worked on the building, accentuating Colonial Williamsburg historical detail.
The 11 room property features an elegant 3-story Georgian brick home with a sunken front garden and separate two-room cottage. We offer full breakfasts served on our breakfast porch each morning and our parlor, gardens and outdoor gazebo offer guests a relaxing setting in the heart of Williamsburg.
The living room is a cozy spot for family and friends to gather, watch a little television, listen to music, relax by the fireplace, or catch up on email via our free Wi-Fi. The living room features a writing desk and large library of old, interesting books, magazines, and the daily newspaper (including the Washington Post), all adding to the colonial feel of the Bed & Breakfast.
Breakfast is served each morning on our dining porch. Guests will enjoy a variety of delicious, seasonal meals freshly preparred by our staff during their stay.After breakfast has been served, our porch doubles as a space for guests to enjoy afternoon refereshments and snacks. We also have a large game collection!
The Cedars Cottage offers lodging separated from the Main House and features two rooms the Lord Botetourt Suite and Peyton Randolph Suite. Both rooms have TV's and fireplaces. They can be booked together or separately.
Equipped with a fan, the Cedars gazebo is a delightful bonus space that guests should be sure to enjoy!
We can also accommodate small outdoor weddings for up to 25 individuals. We invite you to host your intimate wedding, vow renewal, or elopement with us. We will work with you to decorate the property to your specifications and source local vendors to make your special day absolutely perfect.
The Patrick Henry Suite is not only our largest room, but it offers a king size, four poster bed, a dormer window with a window seat and a large bath making it perfect for anniversaries and honeymoons.
Our Rebecca Rolfe Room is decorated with floor to ceiling floral draperies and a fishnet-canopy above the four poster queen size bed. Overlooking the tops of the surrounding cedar trees, your view will only enhance your overall experience while in this warm and inviting room.
Located on the first floor, the George Washington Suite is the perfect accommodation for travelers seeking a sophisticated stay. Offering a queen size, carved mahogany bed accompanied with a canopy and an antique armoire, bask in the afternoon sunlight seeping into the room through our beautifully-crafted windows.
Our largest room, the Washington Suite has an attached sitting room complete with a twin sized daybed and electric fireplace.
Centered on the antique four poster queen size bed, this cozy bed chamber offers an oriental design that would impress the original First Lady herself.
