Lord Botetourt Suite - Queen Bed
Lord Botetourt Norborne Berkeley was sent from Gloucester, England to become Governor of Virginia. After his death in 1770 he was lamented as "the best of Governors and the best of Men." His statue, one of the earliest examples of commemorative public statuary in the US, stands in The College of William & Mary's College Yard.
Fit for a Royal Governor, the Lord Botetourt Room is open, airy, and reminiscent of the King's favor.
The corner fireplace, queen size bed, angled dormers and small library with sitting area invite relaxation and escape. Rate: $210.00

"As our first B&B experience it was truly an enjoyment. The hosts were friendly and entertaining and the food was great. The Lord Botetort room was very private, being separated from the house and quite cozy. All in all we had a great time and hope to return soon." - David Randall, Chesapeake, Va
