 Williamsburg Winery - Tour, Tasting & Lunch
Includes an introductory video that details the wineries history and aspects of viticulture and winemaking, including harvest, crush, cellar activities and winter pruning.
Guests are taken on a guided tour with a trip to the barrel cellars and museum visit. The museum features the property's history, archeological findings and a collection of more than 300 18th century wine bottles.
Knowledgeable staff offer an introduction to the basics of wine making.
After the 35 minute tour, guests are treated to a tasting of 7 wines and are given an etched glass goblet as a memento of your visit.
Guests will also enjoy a fabulous lunch at the Gabriel Archer Tavern. The Tavern is nestled among the vineyards and features a lovely wisteria covered patio for outdoor dining and treats the indoor diners to peaceful vineyard interior views.
The lunch features a broad choice of sandwiches, all served with mixed-baby green salad. Of course, wine and home-made cookies are the featured dessert.
