Experience the story of America's beginnings at Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center. Through film, artifact-filled galleries and outdoor living history, these museums engage visitors in nearly two centuries of our nation's history - from the founding of America's first permanent English settlement in 1607 at Jamestown to the decisive Revolutionary War victory in 1781 at Yorktown and implementation of the Constitution and Bill of Rights in Colonial Williamsburg.
Your Jamestown visit includes museums, recreations of the Powahtan Indian Village and the three ships, Susan Constant, Godspeed and Discovery, which brought the people to Jamestown.
Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center are open year-round from 9 am - 5 pm. They are closed Christmas and New Year.
Jamestown Settlement is also in the advance stages of planning a series of year-long events in preparation for the 400 year anniversary of Jamestown Island's founding in 1607. The world will be watching Jamestown 2007 events unfold to commemorate Jamestown's 400th anniversary.
Attraction ticket prices and schedules are available in our package section.
