Baked Bananas

  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 3 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 6 firm, ripe bananas, peeled
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup grated coconut

Spread butter and lemon juice in bottom of shallow baking dish that will hold 6 bananas.  Stir butter and lemon juice together.  Put bananas in dish and coat with butter mixture.  Mix sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over bananas. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 18-20 minutes, turn after 10 minutes and sprinkle with coconut 5 minutes before they are served.
